Q: Eye doc told me it was a candidate for surgery LASIK, but then refused LASIK. Now I am participating in 125/Health savings plan and the need to use approx. $ 3K or lose the amount. We've been to the Dentist and buy glasses. Creative ideas for the rest? Vitamins or supplements? SonicCare toothbrush? Help!
A: Sometimes you can use those funds to buy things as first aid kits. You can get a lot of very nice and expensive to use as gifts. I've known colleagues who have done this before using the additional funding health savings accounts. Also, if you buy normal glasses, but glasses can do it too.
