Mouthwash Toothpaste
Friday, July 16th, 2010Which is the most effective way to apply fluoride to your teeth, toothpaste or mouthwash?
Q: I use Tom’s of Maine Whole Care Natural toothpaste with fluoride and I was wondering if using a fluoride mouthwash, like ACT, is more effective at streghtening your teeth and preventing cavities than a fluoride toothpaste. Should I stick with my toothpaste, go with the mouthwash, or stay away from fluoride all together?
A: Use both. You can never have too much topical fluoride (fluoride u dont swallow).
