Q: So I have been researching certain beauty products and they are of course all expensive but I really want to try some. I was thinking of putting a percentage of what I make at my short term job and babysitting into a sort of “beauty account.” What is a reasonable amount? 5% 10% More? I need a good amount of money for some things but I don’t want to wast all my money on them.
So here are some of the products. If you have used any of them let me know how they work:
-Supersmile Toothpaste $21

-Tweezerman Tweezers $25
-Tweezerman After Tweeze Soothing Cream $10
-Jonathan Green Rootine Dry Shampoo $19
Yes, I realize this is kind of ridiculous, but still.
A: I think 10% is good enough. You will need to have money for other things as well.
In terms of the products that you suggest I have only tried two of them, Tweezerman tweezers and Jonathan Dry Shampoo. When it comes to the tweezerman tweezers, you can mostly definitely find better tweezers for cheaper. My personal favourite is from Revlon. Their slanted tip tweezers are top notch and until $10 bucks!
Dry shampoo is kinda unnecessary. Washing your hair normally is always a better solution. The Jonathan was ok, I personally prefer Ojon’s Rub Out, but overall I wouldn’t suggest shelling out the money.
