Q: I lost a small piece of one molar and a large piece of another. Has this happened to anyone? The Dentist used Brite Smile. I also did not get the results I expected my teeth were not that discolored and they whitened four shades. I was expecting a super white smile. Five hundred dollars later I am not happy.
A: Well, teeth whitening is actually a contested term because you cannot really say that the teeth will be white as in suoer white. It has been suggested that the term used should be teeth bleaching. Results often vary per patient because of the differences in the teeth perse as well as the reaction with the bleaching solution. With regard to the chipped teeth, it is possible that your teeth might have been weakend by the bleaching process but it is not the only reason why your teeth could have fractured. They could have been weak prior to bleaching and the chippin off could have not be related to it. You can try for a second bleaching procedure but after that, thats all the result you can get.
