Q: I have an electric toothbrush with a plug for machine style razor in the charger. In the UK, using an adapter to connect the 3 pins in my room. I need to use in France, and although it would need an adapter as the plugs are two pin here. However, the plugs of razor do not fit into the wall sockets, the pins are a little closer and are also thicker. Is there an adapter for this, and where can I get one? I suppose I could use two adapters – Shaver -> United Kingdom and the United Kingdom -> European, but that seems silly.
A: I have an adapter that is multi-national. You can connect almost any plug in it (including a plug for machine shaving). I bought mine on an airplane while traveling abroad. I'm sure you must be able to obtain elsewhere, possibly in a shop or onboard shuttle.
