If you've been considering an electric toothbrush, you've probably looked at various brands for the Sonicare Elite Toothbrush sometimes referred to as the Sonic toothbrush or Sonic Care Tooth Brush. However, the price may be a way out.
As someone who has had a history of cavities, root canals and periodontal disease has been very helpful in controlling my dental problems. However, if you have a good record family dental checkups that can not be a necessity. I am relieved that my exams are much shorter because the sonic toothbrush and I think that the accumulation plate is less. It will not replace flossing, and I found using the original Glide dental tape is useful because thicker than some of the thinnest floss in the market right now.
The Sonicare Elite is a new kid on the block and not always easy to know the difference between the various models such as 7300. 7500 and 7800 toothbrushes. The 7800 lets you change the pre-programmed 2 minutes brushing to 2 1 / 2 minutes, which can be useful for some. It also comes with a wall mounting kit. In addition, a dual speed control. The 7500 does not have the option to change the timer and the 7300 does not have the above characteristics, but a fine tooth brush.
Due to travel frequently I am glad that the battery lasts longer than the original model, because I like to travel with a charger. I think it will last about two weeks. Also I like that there is a thinner head and angled brush that allows me to comfortably reach the back teeth. Most people neglect molar areas but this is where many have problems with their pockets due to inadequate cleaning techniques. It is also important to replace the head every six months and I find that after six months, the cleaning is not as good, if they do.
My only criticism is that if not removed and cleaned the brush sonic toothbrush to be a mess inside. In terms of bacteria think it's important to do and it seems tight as could be. However, this disadvantage is outweights benefits as I always feared my dental cleanings and if I can prevent future root canals or cavities is a major financial savings.
