Does your Oral-B electric toothbrush flashes when charging???

Q: My oral pre-B Sonic Complete Toothbrush that flashes when load. I recently bought a 7400 Professional Oral-B toothbrush and do not blink during charging. It makes a difference, the version I have is mostly white with dark blue grips (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31BQH0290YL._AA280_.jpg). My friend has an earlier version of the 7000 series, which mostly is dark blue with light blue grips (http://www.smilox.com/smile/prdimg/oralb_professionalcare_7000.jpg). His flashes during charging. It is mine defective?

A: I have a sound care that does not flash during charging. Does that help at all?
