Minute by minute, electric toothbrushes are more effective in eliminating the plague that a manual toothbrush. In particular, studies have shown that electric toothbrushes remove bacteria Porphyromonas gingivalis and Prevotella Intermedia more effectively than Manual Toothbrushes. The levels of bacteria, the main culprits in the cause of adult tooth loss, decreased faster than when using a traditional toothbrush. (British Dental Journal, 1997).
There are several types of electric toothbrushes available. Typically, these Toothbrush Head smaller than its manual counterpart. While this may appear to be less effective in cleaning teeth, smaller heads actually cleans better than electric toothbrushes with the "normal" head size. The larger heads tend to be bulky when combined with the automatic movement leading to areas of the mouth is missing.
In addition to size, head movement comes in three models: circular, elliptical, and up and down. Have not been defined, but there is no indication that the circular movement of the head may be more effective in cleaning teeth up and down motion.
Sows used for electric toothbrushes is very important. Since the bristles is rotated and moves faster than a manual toothbrush, the bristles tend to wear more quickly. Look for the highest quality and soft bristles.
